2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Piro P.S. Case No. 417 of 2023 registered or the offence under Sections 386, 387, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of demanding ransom (rangdari) from the prosecution side.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the allegation against the petitioner is of demand of extortion/ransom but the role of the petitioner has not been found in the case as the mobile, from which the extortion was demanded does not belong to the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner and the prosecution side have settled their

5. In view of the direct allegation levelled against the petitioner for demand of extortion, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail is dismissed.

7. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court below within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail failing which the Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur will take all steps for arrest of the the petitioner. It is made clear that if the petitioner surrenders within the stipulated time and prays for regular bail then appropriate order shall be passed by the concerned Court below after considering the materials available on record.

8. Let a copy of this order this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur through FAX for its compliance.
