This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Basopatti P.S. Case No. 279 of 2000 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 448, 341, 323, 324, 325, 504, 506, 427/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are said to have assaulted an old lady, broken her hand and injured her eye.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail.
