The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Murar P.S. Case No. 42 of 2016 under sections 354, 379 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code pending in the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar. The informant alleged that the petitioner entered into her house, abused her and on protest the petitioner pulled her Sari and assaulted the informant and her minor child and fled away snatching chain from her neck.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the husband of the informant is a Ward Member and he was always demanding money from Angan Bari Sevika. Petitioner is husband of Shail Kumari, Angan Bari Sevika. Shail Kumari filed

No.39838 of 2016 (3) dt.27-10-2016 2/2 a petition on 01.07.2016 to the Child Development Project Officer, Chaugai and thereafter the informant filed this case but from perusal of the case diary, it appears that besides the informant Dinesh Singh also supported the factum of occurrence and stated that the petitioner had entered into the house of the informant and pulled her Sari.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected.
