JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-12-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Muffasil P.S.Case No.200 of 2015 registered under Sections 341, 323, 384, 379 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Regard being had to the allegation made in the FIR that after intercepting the informant, the petitioner demanded extortion money from him and on protest fired upon him and snatched Rs,1,500/- from his pocket, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his application for pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54242 of 2015 (2) dt.09-12-2015 2/2 shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
