For the Petitioner : Mr. Arvind Kumar Sinha, Advocate For the Union of India : Mr. Manoj Kr.Singh, CGC& Mr. Anjani Kr.Sharan, ASG =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 28-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent Union of India.
The petitioner participated in the selection process for appointment of constable in the year 2011. His candidature was found to be unworthy of consideration on the ground of non-fulfilment of the physical standards, specifically there was swelling in his right testicle. The petitioner was thereafter allowed to appear in the Review Medical Examination on 13.10.2011.
Specific assertion of the respondents is that the petitioner chose not to appear even in the Review Medical Examination. Having failed in the process for appointment in the year 2011 all of a sudden the writ petition has been filed in 2014, though he does not fulfil the requisite physical standards.
The writ petition is dismissed.
