2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 142 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act 2022.

3. As per the prosecution case, 100 liters of illicit liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 5.4.2024 and he has clean antecedent.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-XIII-cum-Special Judge, Excise Court-I, Gopalganj in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 142 of 2024.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Sahebganj Police Station on first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
