The petitioners seek bail in a case instituted under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged that 135 litres of foreign liquor is said to have been recovered from the vehicle of the petitioners. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are in custody since 27.05.2017. The petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioners. It is alleged that 135 litres of foreign wine is said to have been recovered from the vehicle of the petitioners. The petitioners are the driver and khalasi of the vehicle in question. They had no knowledge regarding the goods being transported. There is no compliance of

On behalf of the state, it has been submitted that the petitioners are named in the F.I.R.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Purnea, in connection with Excise Case No. 2023 of 2017, arising out of K. Hat P.S. Case No.515 of 2017.
