The petitioner seeks regular bail in Sono P.S.Case No.230 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 41, 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 200 litres of illicit country made liquor from Bolero vehicle which was being driven by another co-accused.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had taken lift in the said car and merely he was sitting along with the driver of the said vehicle. One criminal case is pending against of the petitioner in which he is on bail and he is in jail custody since 30.09.2017.
