The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Lauriya P.S. Case No. 76 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, informant's sister was married with one Pradeep Sah son of Mewa Sah about six years ago. After sometime of her marriage, all the accused persons including this petitioner subjected her to all sorts of torture due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. On 26.03.2019, the informant got information that his sister was burnt to death. Thereafter, informant went to his sister's sasural where he found the burnt dead-body of his sister covered with bed-sheet. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42514 of 2019(3) dt.11-09-2019 2/2 petitioner happens to be mother-in-law of the deceased aged about 73 years. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is living separately from the deceased and her husband and she has no manner of concern with the family affairs of deceased.

Considering the facts aforesaid, provisional bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 11.07.2019, is hereby confirmed.
