2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No. 28 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109 & 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of firing upon the victim causing injury on his hip.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. He denies the involvement of the petitioner in the crime and submits that the matter has been settled between the parties and the informant has filed a compromise petition. The petitioner is in custody since 30.03.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. From the records, it appears that the injured victim has supported the prosecution case and the petitioner is tempering with evidence.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected for the present.
