The petitioner is in custody since 25.10.2017 in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 455 of 2017 for the offence registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 469, 471, 470 & 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 &4 of Bihar Conduct of Examination Act, 1981 and Section 66(D) of Information Technology Act, 2000.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the basis of certain vague and indistinct allegations, the petitioner has been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and there has been no recovery from the personal possession from the petitioner. However, certain admit cards, educational certificates and pass books were allegedly seized from the jointly rented house where the petitioner was residing with other persons. It is on the basis of such allegation that the petitioner has been taken into custody.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61301 of 2017 (3) dt.19-01-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate -1st, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 455 of 2017.
