JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 15-11-2019 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Complaint Case No. 822 of 2018, disclosing offences under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner happens to be husband of the complainant and allegation against him is of subjecting the complainant to torture with respect to demand of dowry.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that now good sense has prevailed between the parties and the matter has now been compromized and a joint compromise petition has also been filed in the court below.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41987 of 2019(4) dt.15-11-2019 2/2 Heard learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel for the complainant.

Having heard both sides, in view of the above facts, this application is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to surrender in the court below on 25.11.2019 and the learned Trial Court shall verify the above submission of learned counsel for the petitioner of compromise and if it is found that the matter has been compromised between the parties, the court below shall release the petitioner on bail to his own satisfaction on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- with two sureties of like amount in connection with Complaint Case No. 822 of 2018 otherwise, petitioner has to surrender and pray for regular bail.
