2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mahnar P.S. Case No. 275 of 2023 instituted under Sections 323, 341, 324, 379, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 25.9.2023 by the informant, Jageshwar Sahni.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that when he was going to take a bath, heard noise and came outside, found the accused persons abusing Reeta Devi (daughter) as also Surya Devi (daughter-in-law). Upon objecting to the said abuse, the petitioner no.1 Pramod Sahni attacked Reeta Devi and Surya Devi with sword causing injury on the head, when he tried to snatch the sword, the hand was also injured. Further allegation against Sunita Devi is of attacking
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48094 of 2024(2) dt.12-07-2024 2/2 informant's brother, Baleshwar Sahni causing injury. The allegation is of snatching Mangalsutra and gold chain is also there. Accordingly, the FIR.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant submits that the petitioner inflicted grievous injuries to the informant's daughter as also daughter-in-law.
5. Considering the kind of allegation that has come against he petitioner, for the present, this Court does not deem it fit and proper to extend him the privilege of bail.
