2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 115(2)/118(1)/109/76/ 126(2)/303(2)/3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have set the house of the informant on fire and thereafter assaulted the informant with sharp edged weapon. As a result of which, the informant sustained injury.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that both parties are agnates and next door neighbours and due to land dispute he has falsely been implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, simple marpit took place in which both the sides sustained injuries. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42749 of 2025(2) dt.24-07-2025 2/2 petition and submits that there is specific accusation against this petitioner of setting the house of the informant on fire.

6. Considering the accusation levelled against the petitioner, this application is dismissed.
