This Court would expect that the petitioner's Counsel would honour his undertaking in the instant proceedings regarding supply of requisite court fee etc. within two weeks from the date he is called upon to do so by the office.

Petitioner seeks bail in Sadar PS Case No. 42 of 2020 registered under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(B)/ 25/ 29 NDPS Act. 10 Kg. 708 grams Ganja was recovered from the petitioner, as per prosecution case.

It is submitted that Section 42 of the Act has not been complied and it is a case of false implication. The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 20.1.2020.

Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail. It is submitted that the offence is under the NDPS Act. Considering the rival submissions, this Court for the present is not inclined to allow the prayer for bail. The application for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Madhuresh Prasad, J) SNkumar/- U T
