The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kanhauli P.S. Case No. 57 of 2020 registered for the offences under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

As per the first information report, the allegation against the petitioner is that 292.200 litres of liquor was recovered from Maruti car and the person, who fled away from the place of occurrence, was identified as the petitioner by the chowkidar.

In these circumstances, this is not a fit case for grant of the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected.
