The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under section 420 of the IPC and Section 125(A)-(1) and (3) of Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 (Amended).

The prosecution case is to the effect that the petitioner wrongly mentioned her date of birth as 5.2.1994 during Panchayat election in 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for the same cause of action Election Case No. 14 of 2017 was initiated on the complaint of one Sushil Kumar Singh and the same was dismissed by the State Election Commission. Considering the fact that for the same cause of action the State Election Commission dismissed the application of some

Case No.285 of 2017.
