The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under sections 30, 36, 38, 41 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, 6 litres 600 Ml. of foreign liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioners. Petitioners claim that they are having clean antecedents and are in custody since 20.8.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52365 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Samastipur in connection with Samastipur (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 491 of 2017. If the petitioners, after their release in this case, are again found involved in similar nature of cases then the concerned court would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of their bail bonds.
