2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Kajraili P.S. Case No. 49 of 2016.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner, who happens to be the husband of the deceased, has been falsely implicated as the first information report has been instituted belatedly on 24.12.2016 for the alleged occurrence of 21.12.2016. As a matter of fact, the deceased had committed suicide after dispute with her father. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Learned APP opposes the anticipatory bail petition on the basis of the case diary, submitting that the witnesses including son of the deceased Ankush Kumar, Manju Devi mother of the petitioner as well as Sunita Devi, Gotini of the deceased, in paragraphs 7, 8 and 9 of the case diary have raised suspicion against the petitioner.

5. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.65930 of 2018(4) dt.15-02-2019 2/2 of offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. (Vikash Jain, J) BT/Chandran U T
