Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

About 26 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 05.04.2019.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41228 of 2019(2) dt.04-07-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Excise Complaint Case (Excise Prosecution Case) No. 20 of 2019, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
