Appeal No. 669 of 2007 has passed away while serving out the sentence. The State Counsel was, however, asked to find out the status of the appellant Santosh Kumar, son of Bhola Das. Pursuant to the order of this Court, Mr. Ashwani Kumar Sinha learned APP produced a letter bearing no. 1635 dated 19.03.2015 dispatched by the Superintendent, Adarsh Central Jail, Beur, Patna. The aforesaid letter has been placed on record of the case. As per the letter of the Superintendent,

In view of the fact that the sole appellant of Cr. Appeal No. 669 of 2007 has died, the appeal stands abated and is disposed of accordingly.
