Petitioner seeks bail in C2-238 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 134.525 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from the vehicle. Owner and driver of the vehicle managed to run away. The petitioner, who was present there, was arrested.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no concern with the aforesaid liquor. Owner and driver of the vehicle managed to run away.

Petitioner is in custody since 10.05.2019 having clean

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise, Sitamarhi, in connection with C2238 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
