This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. There is suspicion that the petitioner had stolen the cow of the informant. The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Khagaria ( Gangaur) P.S. Case No. 559 of 2016 (G.R. No. 1976 of 2016) to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
