The Petitioner challenges the issuance of advertisement bearing No.2607 issued by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Patna, for appointment of Motor Vehicle Inspector under the Bihar Transport (Technical) Cadre Rules, 2003 by which age limit for applying the form has been fixed from 1.8.2004, although, the vacancy was published in August, 2007.

Considering that this matter has now become stale being heard after about nine years and appointments have already been made pursuant to the advertisement as submitted by the counsel for the State, the application stands dismissed.
