JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 17-11-2017 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hajipur Town P.S. Case No. 603 of 2017, registered for offences punishable under Section 382 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of snatching the chain of informant and petitioner was arrested on spot. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case and nothing has been recovered from his possession. Further he has no criminal antecedent and has been in custody since 29.08.2017. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that petitioner was caught on the spot, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54954 of 2017 (2) dt.17-11-2017 bail.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of four months and if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself.
