JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-11-2018 Petitioner prays for bail in connection with Madanpur P.S.Case No. 87 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 3/4 of Explosive Substance Act and 17 of C.L.A. Act.

Allegation as per FIR is of recovery of huge quantity of explosive substance and petitioner is named in the FIR and it appears that petitioner is accused in altogether 15 other cases of similar nature.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has been made accused only on suspicion and several other co-accused persons have been granted bail and petitioner is in custody since 8.7.2017.

Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that apart from the fact that petitioner is named

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54189 of 2018(4) dt.27-11-2018 2/2 in the FIR he is accused in 15 other cases and since the case is of the year 2014 he has appeared in 2017.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, trial may be expedited.

With the above observation, this application is dismissed.
