The petitioner is aggrieved by the decision of the District Level Selection Committee for grant of licence to run a fair price shop under Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 [for short BTPDS(Control) Order, 2016].

Patna High Court CWJC No.2262 of 2021(2) dt.17-01-2022 2/2 The District Level Selection Committee, in its meeting held on 09.03.2019, has recommended for grant of licence in favour of respondent No. 7. Petitioner was also an applicant. Admittedly, the petitioner has a remedy under the provisions of BTPDS(Control) Order, 2016, which the petitioner has not invoked.

Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate/ statutory authority under the BTPDS(Control) Order, 2016. If he makes any representation/ application before the appropriate/ statutory authority within four weeks from today, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and disposed of within a period of two months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
