The Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 487 of 2020 for the offence under sections 341, 323, 498(A),34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he has demanded Rs. 3 lakh in cash for doing business and due to nonfulfillment of the said demand the informant was assaulted and subjected to torture and cruelty and lastly she was ousted from her in law's house.

Considering the nature of allegation, the Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is dismissed. Ravi/- (Sandeep Kumar, J) U T
