2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A/504/34 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the victim. It is alleged that petitioner no.2 threw hot tea on the body of the victim causing her burn injury on right hand and neck. He also assaulted her causing swelling on the head. Injuries sustained by the victim have been found to be dangerous to life. Petitioners are alleged to have subjected the victim to cruelty as she did not beget male child even after 10
