JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-12-2017 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Maniyari PS Case No. 253 of 2015 (Sessions Trial No. 434 of 2016) registered under Sections 302 and 120B of the IPC.

The petitioner is charged under Sections 302 and 120B IPC for killing her husband.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial is at the fag end; all the prosecution witnesses have been examined except the doctor and the I.O.

Since the trial is at the fag end the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected.

However the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same by six months.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the SSP Muzaffarpur and the Civil Surgeon Muzaffarpur for producing the I.O. and the doctor respectively before the trial court on the fixed date so that the trial is concluded within the stipulated period.
