The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Andharmath P.S. Case No. 22 of 2017 dated 24.03.2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a/26 of the Arms Act. Two country made pistols and two live cartridges are said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in fact, nothing was recovered from him and what has been shown in the seizure list is only a false story planted by the local police. Because of the petitioner having been made accused earlier in about five cases, the petitioner has been unnecessarily made accused in this case. In the earlier cases lodged against the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54118 of 2017 (3) dt.04-01-2018 petitioner, he is on bail.

The petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2017. Regard being had to the period of custody, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-Ist, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Andharmath P.S. Case No. 22 of 2017.
