The petitioner is the husband and apprehends his arrest in relation to Chandi (Bena) P.S. Case No. 142 of 2015 registered under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleges that they were married a year back and she is being tormented for dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner being an agriculturist living in village, but the informant does not want to come and live in the joint family and has been instigated to level allegations so that the petitioner may separate from his family.
