The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dehri (Town) PS case no. 850 of 2017 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 38(i), (ii) and 41(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of certain litres of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, he has clean antecedent and is in custody since 30.10.2017. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Addl. District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (Excise) Rohtas at Sasaram in Dehri (Town) PS case no. 850 of 2017.
