2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 182 of 2024 dated 18.05.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 364, 387, 120B of the IPC of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have taken the informant's brother away in the Scorpio on the point of pistol and demanded Rs. Five lakhs as Rangdari.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was heard by the co-ordinate bench of this court dated 13.12.2024 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 76540 of 2024 with observation that the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. It is further submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner and the victim was recovered on the same day within hours of the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has seven criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner by submitting that there is specific allegation against the petitioner of abducting the informant's brother and thereafter, threw him from the Scorpio when they got knowledge that police was tracing them.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Danapur in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 182 of 2024, with following condition/s:-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47530 of 2025(3) dt.18-08-2025 3/3 (i). The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bond of the petitioner is liable to be cancelled.
