The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S.Case no. 144 of 2014 registered for offences punishable under Sections 304 (B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The allegation against the petitioners is for demand of dowry and resultantly the death of the victim, who is daughter-inlaw of the petitioners. The petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law, respectively of the victim.
The anticipatory bail petition has earlier been rejected by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 41341 of 2014 on 30.07.2015 with a direction to the petitioners to surrender and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57408 of 2015 (2) dt.14-01-2016 2/2 apply for bail before the learned Court below and the age of the petitioners be considered at that time. I do not propose to take a different view.
The allegations are direct and serious, hence, the application is rejected.
The petitioner is directed to surrender and apply for bail before the learned court below (Sub- Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya) in connection with Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S.Case No. 144/2014.
