The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Ara Town P. S. Case No. 331 of 1990, Trial No. 1135 of 2017, registered under Sections 323, 324, 307/34 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of long misuse of the privilege of bail precisely since 1993 and the petitioner is apprehended recently taken into custody since 27.08.2017 and it is a case of murder. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within two years, a copy of the order
