Versus

1. The State of Bihar .... .... Opposite Party/s ====================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Nivedita Nirvikar For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Smt. Anita Kumari ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 22-11-2017 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Aurangabad Town P.S. Case No. 424 of 2015, registered for offences punishable under Sections 386, 120B of Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of CLA Act.

Prosecution case is that police on information raided a place and apprehended other three co-accused persons, who disclosed the name of petitioner for which they used to collect levy.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case as earlier petitioner has filed cases against SHO of Kasma and SHO of Madanpur and after that he has been made accused in one after another case. In this case, there is nothing against the petitioner and he has been in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55052 of 2017 (2) dt.22-11-2017 custody since 10.02.2017.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has criminal antecedents as he is accused in forty other cases of similar nature. Having heard both sides, considering the fact and circumstances of the case and other materials as well as the fact that he is an accused in large number of cases, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, his application for regular bail is, accordingly, dismissed.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible.
