JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Kankarbagh P.S. Case No.199 of 2000 registered under Sections 448, 341, 324, 307 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the fact that the case is of the year 2000 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the year 2008 showing the petitioners as absconder, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail in view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of Lavesh vs. State (NCT of Delhi), (2012)8 SCC 730.

Accordingly, the application for grant of anticipatory

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.72 of 2016 (2) dt.11-01-2016 2/2 bail is rejected.
