JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 05-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant. The petitioner seeks bail in Karamchat P. S. Case No. 44 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
In the written report, it is alleged that sister of the informant was married with this petitioner. She was assaulted in her sasural for demand of motorcycle. The informant got information on 7.6.2018 that his sister has been killed and her dead body has been made to disappear.
Case diary has been received in this case.
Learned counsel for the informant has appeared and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.67497 of 2018(3) dt.05-12-2018 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail. He has submitted that in paragraph nos. 22 and 23 of the case diary witnesses have seen the petitioner along with other accused persons taking the dead body in the Jungle where the same has been burnt without informing the family members of the deceased. Petitioner is husband of the deceased.
Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
