In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No. 84 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation has been made that while the informant was going on a three-wheeler after withdrawing Rs.1,04,000/- from the Bank, two unknown persons, covering their faces, came on a motor-cycle and looted away the money. The name of the petitioner has transpired during investigation. Looking to the nature of allegation as also the fact that the petitioner has criminal antecedent, this Court is not
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40883 of 2019(2) dt.03-07-2019 2/2 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within three weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
