Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No.487 of 2017 (Special POCSO Case No.20 of 2017), giving rise to Trial No.19 of 2017, registered under Sections 09, 10 and 11 of Child Marriage Prohibition Act, 2006, under Sections 16, 17 and 18 of POCSO Act, 2012 as well as under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks bail of the petitioner on the ground of parity as another co-accused, namely, Balbir Singh @ Balvir Singh @ Balvir, having similar allegation was granted bail by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No.56776 of 2017 on 06.02.2018.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51790 of 2017(3) dt.20-03-2018 2/2 petitioner Gurmit Singh @ Gurmit is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-1st-cum-Special Judge, Saharsa in connection with Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No.487 of 2017 (Special POCSO Case No.20 of 2017), giving rise to Trial No.19 of 2017.
