JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 07-02-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners apprehends their arrest in connection with Katra P.S. case No. 26 of 2016 instituted under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation, in brief, is that the petitioners have assaulted four persons with knife and lathi and serious injury was caused to Tiya Thakur who succumbed to the injuries sustained by him. It is submitted that there is no specific overt act alleged against the petitioners.

Considering the facts and circumstances especially the nature of offence and alleged involvement of the petitioners in the occurrence their prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected.
