The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 413/2003, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant. It is submitted that the injury found on the head of the informant is simple in nature but it appears from the record that the case is of the year 2003 and the petitioner has not been appearing in the case for the last 13 years.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
