During course of patrolling, police got information regarding storage of wine at the place of petitioner and his father in-law and further, were engaged in selling the same, a raid was conducted and during course thereof, petitioner's father in-law namely Krityanand Goswami managed to escape while petitioner was apprehended and further, as is evident that 15.6 litres of countrymade wine was recovered from his possession. Petitioner has got absence of criminal antecedent as per disclosure having been made under Para-3 of the petition as well as happens to be under custody since 12.07.2016.
