ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 17-07-2026 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the counsels.

2. Having regard to the fact that the appeal before the

Patna High Court CWJC No.10276 of 2026(2) dt.17-07-2026 2/2 State Election Commission is pending since the last two years, this Court deems it expedite to direct the State Election Commission to dispose of the appeal and pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

3. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the petitioner as well as any interested party shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing. The authority shall duly take into consideration the objections/grounds of appeal filed by petitioner including the maintainability of the appeal and pass necessary orders. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties.

4. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
