2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "For issuance of writ of Mandamus commanding the respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 to grant the Insurance amount to the petitioner of his insured vehicle which has stolen by the thefts."

Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the petitioner is having an alternative and efficacious remedy of approaching the insurance ombudsman under Section 14 of the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the insurance ombudsman under Section 14 of the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017 within a period of four weeks from today. On filing of the said application, the Ombudsman shall endeavor to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve weeks thereof.

4. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

5. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
