JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 26-05-2021 Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In pursuance to the order dated 25.03.2021, status report of trial in connection with Makdampur (Tehta) P.S. Case No. 23 of 2020 has been received and kept at Flag-R, in which it is stated that out of 6 prosecution witnesses, 5 prosecution witnesses have been examined.

Learned counsel for the informant submits that all the witnesses have been examined and the case has been fixed for argument.

Considering the present stage of trial, I am not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40057 of 2020(4) dt.26-05-2021 2/2 inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Makdampur (Tehta) P.S. Case No. 23 of 2020 pending before the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously as early as possible.
