Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 182 of 2016 registered under Section302 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in course of investigation it has come that deceased had committed suicide. On the date of occurrence, petitioner was not at his house. There is no allegation of demand of dowry. Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is allegation against petitioner, who is husband of the deceased, and others of administering poison to the deceased.

Considering the nature of allegations levelled in the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40220 of 2016 (4) dt.22-02-2017 2/2 first information report and the submissions advanced on behalf of the State, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected.
