2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Chhaurahi P.S Case No. 56 of 2024 dated 03.06.2024 registered for the offence punishable u/s 341, 323, 307, 354B, 379, 504 and 34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 02.06.2024 the informant was erecting pillar at her own field, in the meantime the petitioners and the co-accused persons armed with deadly weapon came there and started abusing the informant. On being

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44183 of 2025(2) dt.29-08-2025 2/3 objected by the informant, the co-accused Ankit hit the head of the informant's husband causing head injury. When the informant came to rescue, the petitioner no. 1, Bittu Kumar caught hold of her hair and assaulted her with fist and legs. It is further alleged that the accused Bittu Kumar (petitioner no. 1) and Ankit snatched the golden chain and earring of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. There is no specific allegation against the petitioners. The allegation against the petitioners is general and omnibus in nature. The specific allegation of assaulting the informant's husband is against the co-accused Ankit. As per the injury report, the injured Rohit Kumar and Nitu Devi sustained simple injuries caused by hard and blunt substance. The petitioner no. 2 is a lady. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be

No.44183 of 2025(2) dt.29-08-2025 3/3 enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Begusarai, in connection with Chhaurahi P.S Case No. 56 of 2024, subject to conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the BNSS.
