Versus

Sabita Devi, daughter of late Govind Mahto, resident of Gulbi Ghat, Arwal, P.S. Arwal, Distt. Arwal.

.... .... Respondent/s =========================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Pramod Kumar, Adv. For the State : Mr. Diwakar Pd. Singh, A.P.P. =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE JUSTICE SMT. ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 19-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks revision of the order dated 8.6.2012 passed by the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna, in Maintenance Case No. 134(M) of 2006 by which he has awarded maintenance to the Opposite Party No. 2. When dispute was sought to be resolved, the Parties appeared where the Petitioner refused paternity of a boy Subodh Kant Verma, who claimed to be son of the Petitioner. To end the controversy, a DNA test was directed to be held in which the Petitioner has now been found to be the father of Subodh Kant Verma. Evidently in such circumstances, the Petitioner is enjoined to maintain his family and hence, I see no merit in the application.

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.807 of 2012 dt.19-01-2016 2/2 The application stands dismissed.

The Court below is directed to take stringent action against the Petitioner, if, he refuses to deposit the arrears and current amount.
